LOCAL AGENCIES: Requests local governing authorities to consider adopting local ordinances to require unlicensed residential facilities for seniors or persons with disabilities to have generators or alternative electrical power sources.

SPECIAL DAY/WEEK/MONTH: To designate Tuesday, May 19, 2026, as "Anti-Hunger Day" in Louisiana.

CONGRESS: Memorializes Congress to authorize and fully fund the Mississippi River Basin Fishery Commission Act.

SPECIAL DAY/WEEK/MONTH: Designates Wednesday, May 6, 2026, as Main Street Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends and honors Dr. Paul Dean Coreil on the occasion of his retirement as Chancellor of Louisiana State University of Alexandria and to recognize his many accomplishments in higher education, public service, youth development, and the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service.

WILDLIFE/FISHERIES DEPT: Amends rules relative to chronic wasting disease.

LEGISLATION: Limits the number of resolutions or prefiled bills a member may file during any annual session.

PUBLIC BUILDINGS/GROUNDS: Requests the LSU Board of Supervisors to study naming the LSU Gymnastics Training Facility in honor of Coach D-D Breaux.

AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES: To urge and request the American Sugarcane League, LSU AgCenter, and Southern University Agricultural Center, in collaboration with agricultural manufacturers, to continue work on furthering technology and research into equipment to reduce the dependency of burning sugarcane.

LEGISLATIVE FISCAL OFC: Requests the legislative auditor to examine and evaluate the process of creating fiscal notes during the legislative session.

CONDOLENCES: Expresses sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Allyce Trapp Alexander on the occasion of her passing.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends Warren Morris upon receiving the 2026 Louisiana Sports Ambassador Award and on being inducted into the 2026 class of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends J. Reed Walters on the occasion of his retirement as district attorney of the Twenty-Eighth Judicial District

CONGRESS: Memorializes Congress to ensure timely and full funding aligned with the National Defense Authorization Act in order to support the readiness, stability, and well-being of United States military personnel and their families.

CONGRESS: Memorializes Congress to ensure the timely passage of appropriation measures that fully fund and align with the National Defense Authorization Act.

WILDLIFE & FISHERIES: Memorializes Congress and the United States Forest Service to take such actions as are necessary to allow the use of dogs for hunting in the Kisatchie National Forest

CONGRESS: Memorializes the United States Congress, the President of the United States, the United States Department of Labor, the United States Department of Homeland Security, and the Louisiana Congressional Delegation to take all necessary and appropriate actions to pass the H-2B Certified Seasonal Employer Designation and reclassify all job duties of the crawfish industry as agricultural labor services for purposes of the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker Program.
